  5. WordQwik is a writing utility program that tells you which of
  6. two (or  more)similar words is  correct. If you  have trouble
  7. remembering  when  to  use  "it's"  or  "its," "too" or "to,"
  8. "imply" or "infer," WordQwik is for you.

  10. WordQwik  is  written  by  William  Erdman,  Ph.D,  a college
  11. writing teacher for  more than 20 years college  as well as a
  12. college textbook  writer. It contains  more than one  hundred
  13. entries  of confusing  words. You  merely load  WordQwik from
  14. your  wordprocessor,  select  the  word  or  words to inquire
  15. about,  and see  the words  defined and  used in illustrative
  16. sentences.  Another  keystroke  returns  you  to your writing
  17. where you can confidently insert the correct word.

  19. WordQwik is not memory-resident, so  it does not use precious
  20. memory,  nor   will  it  bump   into  other  programs   (like
  21. WordPerfect(c))  It can  be  easily  accessed by  macros from
  22. WordPerfect(c), WordStar(c) and other popular word processing
  23. programs.

  25. WordQwik comes complete and  fully functional. The registered
  26. version contains three times  more entries than the shareware
  27. version,  and the  registered version  does not  have a final
  28. registration screen.

  30. The  updated version  of  WordQwik  v.1.11 contains  a better
  31. interface allowing  movement to the  beginning or end  of the
  32. file, as well as page up and page down movement. In addition,
  33. a bug that  caused the DOS  prompt to be  hidden when exiting
  34. WordQwik on some machines has been fixed.
